Hello all and welcome to Howard County Weather! I am Elliott Budd and am currently in the last two weeks of my freshmen year studying meteorology at Valparaiso University in Northwest Indiana. I hope I can make this page informative and fun for all of you! Now onto the weather... Current temperatures across the north central Indiana area Kokomo-53 Lafayette-53 Muncie-69 Peru/GAFB-50 Currently the area is overcast with areas of clearing just to our west and northwest but we will continue to have overcast conditions until early tonight. Low temperature tonight will range in the upper 40s with generally calm conditions. On Tuesday there is the possibility of showers from 6 in the morning to late in the day. Highs should range in the low 50s getting warmer the farther south you go. Wednessday will be much more seasonal with highs in the 70s across the region. Here is the forecasted precipitation totals from 1pm this afternoon to 7 pm tomorrow evening. Dont look at exactly where the totals fall, but the numbers. we wont be seeing too much rain. For the next couple weeks we can expect generally above average temps and precip in the 6-10 day range according to the Climate Prediction Center. Thank you for reading this blog.
